So, officially, here it is, the first day of Spring, 20th March 2025!

Here at OSiT , we have started to book in dates for our centre Summer Parties and also some other social events ! Exciting news for all of our clients.

Did you know that we have event space in our Monument building? It is a roof top café/ bar with breath taking views over The Thames and The Tower of London. To be up there on a Summers evening , watching London lit up and boats sail by, is truly magical. Giovanni and her team always make everyone welcome and are particularly good at handing out the Tequilla Rose shots! This venue is available to all , should you be looking for an extra special venue to hold your event! Send Giavanni an email and go and see for yourself! I am eagerly awaiting the date for our staff social to go to ‘The Cube’, somewhere I have wanted to go to for a long time. I think I am going to win as I used to watch the programme and comment that ‘I could definitely do that’, as did thousands of other people I am guessing! I really do hold out high hopes and will keep you posted!

OSiT GREEN TEAM MONTHLY HIGHLIGHTS

The Green Team has been reflecting on another year of great initiatives, building community, and supporting our charities. Here are some highlights from 2024!

🌱 1. Embrace Energy Efficiency
With longer daylight hours, try to save energy by making the most of the natural light! Open blinds and switch off artificial lights during the day to reduce energy consumption. When you do need to turn on your lights, make sure you have upgraded to energy-efficient bulbs for a happier planet. Your wallet will thank you too!

🌷 2. Plant Pollinator-Friendly Flowers
If you like to garden, Spring is the perfect time to enhance outdoor spaces with native plants and flowers that attract bees and butterflies. This supports biodiversity and will help your local ecosystems thrive!

🚲 3. Promote Eco-Friendly Commuting

Warmer weather makes cycling or walking to work a lot more enjoyable. Try a greener commute to work to cut carbon emissions and enjoy some fresh air and vitamin D.

♻️ 4. Spring Cleaning

If you are planning on doing some spring cleaning around your house, don't forget to ditch single-use cleaning tools and switch to clean, green products!

Spring into Action: Gardening Tips! 🌱🌷

As the days get longer and signs of spring start to bloom, now’s the perfect time to get your garden ready for the season ahead.
Here are some easy ways to give your outdoor space a head start!

🌿 Prune and Prepare – Trim back bushes and climbing roses to encourage fresh growth.

🥕 Plant with Purpose – Now’s the time to sow onions, lettuce, carrots, radishes, or even a new tree!

🌸 Think Summer Blooms – Get those summer-flowering bulbs in the ground for a colourful display later in the year.

🌾 First Lawn Mow of the Year – Choose a dry day to give your grass a tidy-up.

🌼 Dahlia Time – Start dahlia tubers in pots or trays so they’re ready for planting out later.

OSiT Broker of the Month - March

Joshua Ravenscroft from Compton was named Broker of the Month for his outstanding achievement in securing a 27-workstation deal at 46 New Broad Street, finalised in December 2024. Joshua completed this deal in under two weeks!
